Long Bio: A. P. Howell was born in upstate New York. She earned undergraduate and graduate degrees in history and has worked in marketing, IT, and archives. She met her college sweetheart Scottish Country Dancing; they are married and live in suburban Philadelphia with their two children. She is known to knit (but never crochet), practice martial arts (despite a lack of flexibility), and help the sun rise as a Morris dancer. Howell has sold short fiction to online magazines and anthologies, including Daily Science Fiction, Translunar Travelers Lounge, Little Blue Marble, Hybrid Fiction, Eighteen: Stories of Mischief & Mayhem (Underland Press), and Community of Magic Pens (Atthis Arts).
